The Joel Committee has begun focus on three key long term aspects of church operations.  These areas are, in no particular order: Communication, Structure, and Demographics.

A Communication Committee has been formed, from the Joel Group, and has been approved as an active part of the Church Council.  The committee will report to the Church Council and continue to be under the direction, too, of the Joel Committee.

Several short and long term efforts were identified as part of the role for the Communication Committee.  These were:  TV Ministry, Website, Text/Email Community, Sunday Communication, Advertising/Publications, and Praise/Celebration Group (an audio – visual team yet to be formed).

All of these efforts will come to fruition eventually, but a few will lead the way to improve and optimize the methods of communication we have and use within the church and community.

Our first need is to know HOW you want to be communicated with, via the various methods we have in place now, and yet to be “created”.

The purpose of the survey is collect your chosen “methods of communication” so we can give you what you require in the methods and formats you choose.

The form is a simple one page document, to be filled out for every church member, nonmember, and visitor 6th grade and older.  You’ll see for each person filling it out, you can and should choose how you want to see, hear; receive the information we eventually want to get out to you.  One person per form for ages 6th grade and above.

For children 5th grade and younger, there is information to be filled out by the parent (or guardian) on the same form for the parent (or guardian).

We’ll use this information to update our current church directory with updated information.  All of this information is confidential.

This survey is for anyone who wants to be part of our communication network and efforts.

There is a place at the bottom for additional comments if you desire.
